Today on the veg - It's 3am, and your children are safe and asleep...

Flipping channels last night, and I caught a preview of a new Lifetime show...kids and their parents in a dance competition. I stopped flipping just long enough to see this daughter expressing how she felt about her father. She loves him...oh, that's nice. Wow, she really loves him. Ok, we get it...stop crying,,,you love him.

Is it me, or is this show dangerously close to the edge of some serious wrongness? Like, Angelina and her brother at the Oscars wrongness.

Science geeks and bling lovers here's one for you. My friend Joe and his wife created this line of periodic table rings via itsnoname. (An anagram for their home state Minnesota.) Each ring - silver, gold and platinum - is made exclusively from that element. They're not cheap, but damn they look good. Right now the periodic rings are only sold via itsnoname but retail locations like The Reed Space and more are coming soon.
