Michael Eisner spoke about the writer’s strike live on CNBC’s show Fast Money.
"It's over," Eisner said. "They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general.""A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," Eisner said, adding, "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."
However, an unnamed WGA representative said,
"The strike is NOT over -- as you know, we are under a press blackout, but I can tell you that the strike is NOT over."
According to Strike Vibe, the end might be near, but there’s a picket scheduled for this afternoon. The WGA will hold meetings Saturday to update members on what’s happening. No doubt there will be more news coverage on this today.
