So, apparently NBC is contrite today after Jane Fonda inadvertently used the word "cunt" on national television. It never fails to amaze me at how great a taboo this word seems to carry in the US, because in England it's almost part of everyday vernacular, especially within a pub setting. Maybe it's because we Brits usually use to to describe a man, rather than a woman.
For a better example of the US-UK C-Divide, take a look at this promo for Britain's Channel 4, featuring many British A and B list celebrities choosing their very favorite swear word... And if you're in the US, better put on headphones...

Try as i might, i cannot understand the fuss that a word can cause. Dudes, its a word, a collection of sounds, relating to the female genitals. Why is this offensive but being called a dick is not? Why is this a moral issue in a country where gun ownership, poverty, and war are not? Priorities people !! Last time i checked the Puritan Pilgrims sold their souls down the river as soon as a buyer sailed into view.
