New York City...February 5th...6:45am, and it feels like it's 50 degrees outside...may even get into the 60's.
I hear there's a parade in the city today. And call me crazy, but I think alcohol may be involved. I predict it'll be "interesting" by mid morning, "loopy by early afternoon, and "nutty" by nightfall. (rain or not) Stay tuned.

A parade... must be Mardi Gras. Alcohol? Isn't there some kind of election today? In most places, you can't buy alcohol til the polls close on election day. What's the deal in New York?
