It's Good to be Obama

ObamaGrammy.png

Barack Obama has had a good weekend. This may be the understatement of the year.

Saturday, he won the Louisiana primary and caucuses in Washington and Nebraska. Sunday, he won the Maine caucus in an upset over Hillary Clinton, who was favored in the polls. The New York Times says that gives him four victories this weekend. Au contraire! Make that five.

He just won a Grammy. Yes, to cap off the weekend, Obama was awarded the Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album for the audio version of his book The Audacity Of Hope: Thoughts On Reclaiming The American Dream. He beat heavy hitters Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Maya Angelou, and Alan Alda. This is Obama’s second Grammy, as he won in the same category in 2006 for the audio version of his earlier book, Dreams from My Father.

Actually he won three delegates from the Virgin Islands as well, so six victories!
