A message to the few thousand people who have an Isuzu: You’re now driving a collectors edition.

Effective January 31, 2009, Isuzu will stop distributing passenger vehicles in North America. But if you’re one of the 7,000 or so people who bought an Isuzu last year, you’re not exactly S.O.L. Isuzu will honor all product warranties and roadside assistance programs.

As a small consolation, Isuzu lovers will always have memories of the good ol’ 1980’s when huckster Joe Isuzu, played by David Leisure, told boldface lies, caught bullets, and helped make Isuzu king of the SUV movement.
