"Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights" **1/2 (out of four): Documentary chronicling Vince Vaughn's month-long traveling comedy show isn't as funny as it wants to be, but it's good for a few laughs.

In September 2005, actor Vince Vaughn - he of the motorized mouth and rapid-fire repartee - hired a few buses, grabbed four of his aspiring comedian friends, and set out on a month-long journey from, as the subtitle would put it, "Hollywood to the Heartland". The resulting documentary, "Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights", plays like a home movie from some of your old beer-drinking college buddies. It doesn't shed much light on the plight of struggling comics, but as a comic documentary, it's much better than Jerry Seinfeld's 2002 dud "Comedian".
