On December 7th, window washer Alcides Moreno fell 47 stories and survived. He cracked his ribs, broke arms and legs and damaged his spine. But after 14 operations, some 24 pints of blood, and being in a coma, we're happy to report he's doing better. Lucky guy will probably walk again! His Dr. Philip Barie said the above quote in reference to Alcides recovery, I think that's quite fitting.
Sadly, his brother, who was working with him, was killed.
