I’m known for being out of the loop, but I’m sure I’m not the only person who never heard of the game Mass Effect until I saw this video. You know there are a lot of folks who first heard about it on Fox News, and will now buy it because of the free publicity the network has bestowed. Notice three talking heads, and only one has played the game. There is a panel discussion following, and it looks like none of them have played it, either. So have you? Is Mass Effect really sexy, or is the sex just a little piece of a big game? And was it good for you?

Ha! I just read the linked story. You gotta expect that sort of thing when you try to give an expert opinion on something you are not an expert on. That's why I start so many posts with a statement of my own ignorance.
I feel stupider for having watched that drivel. Let me get this straight: a latch-key kid looking to get his rocks off is going to eschew the near-instant payoff Intertubes and daddy's porn (heck, even R-rated movies) collection in order to play a game for hours to get to a two-minute cut scene? Heck, they'd probably get their rocks off easier by watching Fox News (foxattacks.com/decency) and their hypocritical moral indignation over "sex in the media" and the harm it can bring to our children.
"Parent can't watch their kids every second, and the minute parents turn their backs the kids will be playing this game!" Ever hear of the V-Chip?! Works for games too. If you can keep your kids from watching the latest R-rated Fox film you can keep them from playing Mass Effect.
My gosh! Call up Fox news! I was just over to the #1 cited high school term paper reference (wikipedia) and found a page on the video game "Custer's Revenge" that has a screenshot featuring full frontal nudity including an aroused male!! Think of the children!!!
