The earlier post about Hatt-Baby led me into one of those spirals on YouTube, where you click and click and end up watching something you've never seen before that just takes you by surprise.
And so it was with "Parwana". Six mesmerizing minutes of Kurdish music, that just has me asking so many questions - are those ponytails they are waving? How old is that little boy and why does this creep me out so much? Is it because those guys gyrate behind him or is it because they're in the woods?Is it just me or does this have a whole "Deliverance' vibe? As my friend CC said when I showed it to him: "Wonder how you say 'you've got a purty mouth' in kurdish".
