A new ski gimmick
snowpulse.com.jpg

This may save you life!...if you happen to be caught in an avalanche. Snowpulse is like an airbag for skiers. The so-called Life-bag (snicker, snicker) inflates when you're overtaken by an torrent of snow then deflates a short time later to give you an air pocket of oxygen. Word is that Snowpulse will be available in the US soon.

Till then, be glad you weren't the model of this photo.

Know your candidate
GlassBooth.jpg

You: Know who you're voting for?
Me: Sure, I'm for so and so. I've liked him from the beginning
You: Really? What do you like about him?
Me: Ummm...He's for...I mean, he's against...he's for children...he likes children. and recycling.

Tired of sounding like a moron when someone asks which candidate you're supporting. Ok, maybe it's just me. That's why I like Glassbooth.org.

First, distribute 20 points among the issues you think are most important, then answer a few questions based on those issues, and Glassbooth will tell you which candidate lines up closest with you on those issues. I was pretty psyched to find that my candidate actually does line up with how I feel. Take a look

The Never Ending Conversation
NeverEndingOrange.jpg

Ok, so I've just had a 20 minute discussion with a web page. And it was more interesting than alot of people I've worked with.

It's part of something called Good Things Should Never End, a website that, well...never ends. Designed to promote Orange, the UK Cell service provider, the site’s main page just keeps scrolling down. You travel through a collection of cool, interactive flash gizmos, until you get bored, or you feel the need to blog about it.

Nice effort. I may go back to visit my new friend from time to time.

- At the PreSurfer, a look at the LOLcats many contributions to society.
- And interesting video on what it costs to buy a little ad space in NYC.
- A disturbing video on human sex trafficking featuring Emma Thompson.
- And last night, Barack made an appearance in a pretty unfunny skit.
