Best Team Name Ever!

150_ASD logo b&w.jpgI just received a comment at mental_floss on the post High School Sports Teams. There are a ton of comments, but this one I’ll never forget. If you were the athletic director at a school for the deaf and needed to name your team, what would you name it?

Can’t beat that with a stick! They’ve had the name a long time, since the school’s history page says

In 1941, the ASD Leopards won the national basketball championship for schools for the deaf held at the Illinois School for the Deaf.
