Yesterday they announced the shortlisted finalists for the OMMA Awards, given out for online advertising creativity. And I note it here purely for selfish reasons, as two projects I worked on as Creative Director are on the list of finalsists
In the Best Advertising Website category, there's the Journey microsite for the Wall Street Journal, which I first blogged about here. Check it out - I oversaw the concept and even lovingly videoed the behind the scenes clips.
And in the Best Use of Virtual Worlds category, there's the Virtual Thirst campaign for Coca-Cola that I helped bring to Second Life and wrote about here.
It's all pretty ironic timing, because in the past few days I've decided to leave crayon, the new media start up I've been working at since the beginning of the year to explore different opportunities. I know a few advertising folks read this blog, so I just wanted to throw that out there. I'm looking. Portfolio here. Resume here.

Whoa.
That's some good work there!
Ironically, I'm the creative director for the 2nd entry in the best use of virtual worlds for the Motorati campaign.
Guess that ups our chances of Yesbutno having a winner!
