The other day, I dropped by Toys R Us looking for a new video game. They didn't have it, but the place was empty so I bought a cold bottle of Diet Pepsi before leaving. A simple impulse buy. The guy takes my money and hands me TWO receipts, each about 7" long. The first was a regular receipt.

And the second?

A GIFT RECEIPT. Yes, they gave me a GIFT RECEIPT for a 20 oz. bottle of Diet Pepsi. Seriously, here's a scan I cropped to remove all the non-pertinant messages.
