I think it was a beautiful ending. Those last five minutes showed us what it was like to be Tony Soprano. Never knowing what is coming, always looking for the final hit, always tense, seeing danger in strangers. I think in the last five minutes I finally understood just how Tony is going to be spending the rest of his life, no matter how long or short it is.

Couldn't agree more, Scara. I thought it was awesome.

I agree, Chase managed to sum up the entire series in that final scene.
Let's just hope it doesn't turn into a series of movies as has been rumored.

I imagine a lot of people across the country were cursing their cable boxes thinking they had just blacked out.
I actually liked the ending too. I didn't expect any big finale so this was maybe a little more than I thought we'd get.

The episode made me hungover and snarky today.

my choice isn't there...
A real resolution is compromised by Chase's decision to leave room in case they can manage to throw enough money at Gandolfini to make a movie.

my personal theory... people are saying that tony is dead due to the "you never hear the one that kills ya" theory.... but its the audience that got whacked. it makes the most sense to me, and I'm perfectly happy with the ending...
