Since I’ve only been contributing to YesButNoButYes for a tad less than a year, I don’t have a ton of wonderful posts to wade through for Retro Week, but I have contributed some videos that I’ll clump together for those who may have missed them the first time around. Today, the topic is “making fun of Star Trek and Star Wars.”
I’ve been accused of being a Star Wars freak, which I very well may be, but I’ve loved Star Trek since 1966, when I was (cough cough) very young. My first ever post on YesButNoButYes was a Star Trek video, on July 27th, 2006.
See what happens when you bug these guys enough? They'll end up hiring you. Even at slave wages, its beats what I was doing before (which was nothing). Anyway, my name is Miss Cellania and I'm glad to be part of the team. My five-year mission: to make sure this site never gets too serious.
On August 29th, it was Star Trek and Monty Python.
By September 17th, Monty Python bridged the gap to Star Wars.
The Star Wars gang starred in Death, Doom, and Destruction, posted on October 19th. The song is We Will All Go Together When We Go, a nuclear-age ditty from Tom Lehrer. Feel free to sing along.
