Wow. Talk about a blast from the past. I was hoping that Captain Cool and the Kongs wouldn't introduce themselve ... I was going to impress you with my memory of them.

I believe Captain Cool is now a Hollywood bigshot of some sort, writing & directing sitcoms. He'll always be Cpt. Cool to me ...

hahahahha! loved this trip down memory lane! I had forgotten about some of them (Jim Naybors and Ruth Buzzie???) and some are indelibly etched in my brain.
I loveed watching these shows on the SHELLIVISION.

Sid and Marty had a very short lived indoor amusement park, complete with a huge pinball machine in which the rider was the pinball. It is now the headquarters for CNN (seriously!)

Jason, you are right. Some of the Captain Kool and the Kongs footage from the Krofft Supershow opening was shot at the theme park. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a lot of photos or videos of the park online...
