Lost Season Finale Spoiler

LOSTSPOILER.jpg

If you're like me, you stopped caring about the TV show Lost quite a while ago.

But some people are still enjoying the thing and there's been some huge spoilering going over by someone named Lost108 on various websites who has seen the last episode of this year. He's been quasi-verified by Ain't It Cool News who have received the same info.

Wanna know what's gonna happen? Spoiler details from Lost108 are after the jump.

Episode 322 FINALE "THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS"

The finale is full of action, a few deaths -- and a huge twist

First, the deaths. A bunch of Others get killed when they try to raid the camp. This includes Friendly, who Sawyer shoots in cold blood -- and also the other new tough guy Other (I think his name is Price) who gets run over by Hurley in the van.

And Charlie FINALLY dies. Thank god. I've always thought he was one of the weaker characters and his death has been threated in so many episodes its about time it finally happened. He unblocks the jamming signal in the underwater station but drowns when Mikhail uses a grenade to blow it up, killing them both. It's a cool death for Charlie. Maybe cooler than he deserves.

Another big moment is when an old favorite of the show returns. Locke is just about to kill himself in the Dharma grave pit that he fell into after Ben shot him when he hears a voice telling him not to. He looks up to see...WALT!! Walt helps him out of the pit and then disappears. No sign of Michael, and there's no explanation about where Walt has been or what happened to him or Michael.

Locke then makes it to the Radio Tower -- and gets there in time to kill Naomi just before she makes the rescue call. He throws a knife straight into her back. Jack can't understand what Locke is doing and tells him that he'll have to shoot him to stop him from making the call himself. Locke threatens to kill Jack, but then backs down.

Jack makes the rescue call -- and someone on the other end answers. The story on the island ends with help on the way. Or maybe not. Ben has told Jack that Naomi and her people aren't who they say they are -- and just before he dies, Charlie sees a transmission in the underwater hatch from Desmond's Penny -- who, contrary to what Naomi has said, denies that she knows Naomi at all!!

But the HUGE TWIST of the episode -- in fact, probably the huge twist of the entire series -- happens in the flashback. They start by showing that Jack is messed up. He's popping pills and suicidal. The first flashback shows him about to kill himself by jumping off a bridge -- only a car accident nearby causes him to stop, and instead of killing himself he finds himself helping the accident victims.

But he keeps spiraling. He sees his ex-wife at the hospital -- she's pregnant with another man's child. He goes to a funeral of a person that we never discover, but whoever it is, his (or her) death rocks Jack hard. He steals drugs from the hospital and is caught by the new doctor in charge.

And all the time, he's constantly on the phone desperately trying to contact somebody. And the last scene shows us who...he goes to meet the mystery person, and it's the last person on earth we would think...it's KATE!

And it's now that we realize that for the first time in Lost history, we haven't been watching a flashback. We've been watching a FLASH-FORWARD!

Yep, that's right. THEY ACTUALLY SHOW THAT JACK AND KATE MAKE IT OFF THE ISLAND. For some reason, this has been the cause of Jack's spiral. He tells Kate they have to go back to the island. She refuses and drives away. The show finishes with Jack screaming "We have to go back!!"

This is totally a foiler.

But I'm sure the writer is laughing his/her ass off that people are reprinting this all over the place.

Wow,i knew this was fake from the second i read that Hurley would run someone over.

But it'll really suck if Charlie and Naomi both die...

I think Lost108 is working for ABC and has put this out there to mislead. Interesting anyway. Locke's character has totally evolved into something different than it was even last year. not sure I like it...

Hmmm...an interesting twist indeed. Hopefully the finale itself will be a bit more definitive as to the demise or future of the rest of the cast. Otherwise I imagine next season's ratings will become "Lost" themselves as the show's tangled plot continues to bore a once mighty fan base into extinction.

mm but I still don't know why Jack told the doctors to call his dad. If it's the future Jack's dad is dead, isn't he?

said adrienne on May 23, 2007 11:20 PM.

NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! wow. who on earth leaked this? they were totally legit. Im glad I didnt read it before hand. I think Charlie's not really dead and that just because it was a flash forward doesnt mean its really going to happen...who died in the casket??

said maloneage on May 23, 2007 11:21 PM.

Wow, nailed it completely. I'm glad I didn't read this until after I watched the episode.

said TheMuggler on May 23, 2007 11:22 PM.

holy crap im glad i didnt read tht before hand. still... do they get saved?

said joe on May 23, 2007 11:34 PM.

But it was Desmond that Naomi was coming to rescue...not knowing about the survivors. If Naomi was part of the Dharma Initiative seeking retrubution, then how would she know about Desmond?
She may not have been sent by Penny...but she was definitly after him.

yeah- i am also confused about Jack saying to the new Dr in charge to bring his father down & if he's more drunk than his father then he'd quit. now that we know it was a flashforward, then the fact that jack's father is still alive in this flashFORWARD, is possibly a huge clue (as jacks dad is supposed to be dead)...hmmm. Also- who could it be in the casket that would cause Kate to ask "why would i go to their funeral?"? Juliette? & i bet the "he" in "he's going to wonder where i am" is Sawyer. Oh- one last thing- are we ever going to find out what happend to Michael & Walt? i just about forgot about them until Walt popped into tonites epi.

was it just me, or was it some kinda weirdness in jacks flash forward. besides daddy being alive (mentioned already i know) Kate didn't have any freckles??????

said dragontattoos on May 24, 2007 6:42 PM.

Considering that Jack was completely high on drugs when he told the new doc to bring his father down, I don't think the comment means Christian Shepherd is still alive. I think it means Jack was suffering from oxycodone-induced delusions. He was probably rambling about his dad because he realized he'd basically turned into him - a once-great doctor who spiraled into addiction and now has no business practicing medicine. The new doc was speaking to Jack kinda the same way Jack spoke to his father when he knew his father was impaired.
As for Kate having no freckles, that's no great mystery: it's called makeup!
What didn't make sense was Jack's beard with NO gray in it, when the stubble he has on the island has lots of gray. I can't imagine a suicidal drug addict taking the time to dye his beard!
Another error is that, as far as I know, it's illegal for doctors to prescribe oxycodone with 2 refills. For painkillers that strong, a patient needs to get a brand-new prescription from an MD every month. At least I'm fairly certain of that.
I think the person in the casket was Locke.
I still need more time to completely process the finale, but I can say for sure that I'll tune in in 2008. I've watched "Lost" from day one, and won't give up on it, even if it doesn't always make sense...

if naiomi wasnt apart of penny's rescue plan why did she have a picture of desmond and penny when she parachuted onto the island?

said dragontattoos on May 27, 2007 8:39 PM.

i hpe kate hooks up wit hurley after getting off the island. hes a rich guy off the island. i also miss all the metaphysical mystery , the numbers, the hatch, the smoke demon thingy, polar bears. I really wanted to know what that thing was that almost ate locke neat the end of the first season. When they were coming back with the dynamite the first time and jack dropped a stick down the hole. Never shoulda killed echo either. I like hat the characters are developing sawyer is getting all dark and killing people. kate is a whore. hurley getts fatter and fatter - lol

said dragontattoos on May 27, 2007 8:43 PM.

Jack is probably just high when he mentions his father. He doesn't permit the pharmacist to check the prescription given in his father's name, so there is likely no one at that office because he is dead.

We know that Michael may have made it off the island and is universally hated by any other survivors, so I think it is his funeral. The appearance by walt shows that in some form he returns to the island. Certain people like Walt, Locke, Ben and Mikaihl seem to have a connection to the island that won't be severed and are unlikely to go settle in LA. Michael is a good candidate for suicide, or perhaps to be killed by James or any of the remainding passengers of the plane.

said chad on May 29, 2007 9:59 AM.

the paper that jack crumbles in the beginning says that a guy named John Lantham hung himself. i guess whos in the funeral develops in later seasons
