Jerry Falwell is dead. Far be it for me to chime in on the man's life and opinions. I'm far too stupid and naive. Instead, I think the best way to remember the man is through his quotes.

I didn't know much about this man, but those quotes are despicable.
What I remember most about this man is the brouhaha years ago when he said that one of the Teletubbies was gay. TMZ had a fitting tribute this morning..showing that Teletubbies character waving good-bye.
I heard a quote on NPR today, recorded last week, where he said that global warming was just a distraction concocted by homosexuals and abortionists to distract Christians from their duty.
Man, I am going to miss this guy!

I've got a few years on you guys. I remember him from the PTL scandal with Jim and Tammy Bakker. He stepped in to 'help them' protect their ministry and tried to steal it right out from under them. Man what a legacy this guy leaves behind...

On the bright side, at least Virginia has only one embarrassment of a national televangelist with his very own destitution of higher education left to shame us now. Unfortunately for me, he's only 30 minutes away...
