If the Pig was bought as a Christmas gift and was raised as a pet or as livestock, Then why did the Alabama Department of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries do the investigation to determined that no laws were violated and not The ASPCA. Penalty: Class C felony, (§13A-5-6) 1 year and 1 day -- 10 years confinement; (§13A-5-11) $5,000 maximum fine.

If firearm or deadly weapon used: minimum 10 years (§13A-5-6).

Per §13A-5-9, if prior felony conviction: Class B felony, 2 - 20 years confinement; $10,000 max fine.

If 3rd Felony: Class A felony, 10 - 99 years or life; $20,000 maximum fine.

If 4th Felony: 15 - 99 years.
