Following on from "Phish Food" and "Cherry Garcia", Ben & Jerry's are coming out with "Bohemian Raspberry" in tribute to Queen, described as "Vanilla ice cream with fudge brownies & raspberry swirls."
Which got me thinking - this seems a little too ordinary a tribute to Freddie Mercury, who's life was anything but vanilla. So it's time for the YBNBY readers to get to work. Name a new Ice Cream flavor in tribute to a band and tell us what should go in it. The best suggestion in comments will win a 6 Pints of B&J Ice Cream to enjoy at your leisure. And I'll make sure all our suggestions are sent to B&J themselves. Get to work people.

Band: The Rolling Stone
Ice Cream: A rich, dark chocolate with vanilla and strawberry swirls and sprinkled with cocaine and the ashes of Keith Richard's dead father.
Ben and Jerry didn't originate the flavor, or at lkeastnot the name. Jones Soda has had Bohemian Raspberry in their lineup for a couple of years.
Red Hot Chili Peppers.
You don't even need to change the name! Although, admittedly, it's not a very appetizing ice cream flavor.
Another that doesn't need to be changed: Bananarama.
It could be a vanilla ice cream with banana chunks mixed with marshmallow fluff (for their light and fluffy yet 'sticky' music).
The KISS Rocky Road All Night-
It is an elaborately packaged ice cream, reportedly containing a drop of blood of each of the bandmembers. However, when you really examine the contents, it is pretty much vanilla.
Neutral Milk Hotel -
Carrot Flower Ice cream, with tomatoes and radio wire.
Livin' la Vida Roca -
almond ice cream with a swirl of crushed almond roca
Milli Vanilla:
Dreyer's/Edy's Vanilla Bean rebranded as Ben and Jerry's.
Wouldn't "Tutti Frutti" be a more fitting flavor for a Queen themed ice cream?
Band: Cake
Ingredients: Ice Cream and Cake
It almost makes itself...
Other bands:
Bread
Meatloaf
Red-Hot Chili Peppers
...but probably not good ice cream flavors.
Motley Chew. Bland vanilla ice cream and thick chunks of Reisen-style caramels. A new technique allows the ice cream to grow fatter and taste worse the longer it sits in your freezer. Oh, and it has to be be packaged in a special 14 inch tall carton to account for the incredibly long candy tube packed with marshmallow cream.
Or one named for ? and the Mysterians. What's in it? Nobody knows. But there are exactly 96 ingredients that are so sugary sweet they'll make you cry, cry, cry.
One more: Johnny Casch. Black cherry ice cream (man in black), chocolate swirls, called chocolate "lines" on the packaging (for his occasional sweetness), and red hots (because they burn, burn, burn... )
Caramel Police.
Tribute to Radiohead
caramel and chocolate swirled coffee ice cream with glazed donut pieces.
For George Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blueberry.
Vanilla ice cream with blueberry swirls and blueberries.
For the Beatles - All You Need is Fudge.
Vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge swirls and chocolate brownie pieces.
For Pink Floyd - Comfortably Rum.
Rum flavored ice cream with chocolate covered vanilla cookie pieces and pecans.
For Elvis - Love Me Slender.
Could be any flavor, just low-fat!
One more for the all us lactards:
Soy George.
Britney Spears: Hit Me Baby One More Lime
Mojito flavored for the post-rehab set.
Sonic Youth: Praline Nation
Drab colored vanilla with pralines...or...whatever.
Also: props to amanda for the elvis/weightgain joke.
Vanila Ice (vanilla ice cream, it's trying its hardest to be cool and tasty like chocolate ice cream... but fails miserably, no one buys it and it ends up working in a video store)

I think thats a perfect combination for Queen as long as the Fudge is Packed in tight.
How about the Michael Jackson - You get a plain chocolate ice-cream and build it up yourself whilst adding vanilla until it is white.
hi
i thought of a new flavor that i know me and my friends would love. i was thinking a vanilla non fat yogurt (because they're are not many good non fat flavors) with chocolate swirls, peanut butter and banana mixed in. yum!
