China Central Television (CCTV) has some astoundingly beautiful women, but can’t bring itself to say too many nice things about them. In the slideshow Uniqueness of 10 hot female stars in China, movie star Gong Li on the left is described as average: “Shortcomings; her face is a little long and her lips are a little thick.” Xu XiYuan, at right, is “average except beautiful long hair. By the way, she has big ears.” Yeah, you can't have movie stars getting a big head.

This is awesome! If only American "rankings" were as derisive as this one. A good dose of humility would solve a lot of Hollywood's problems. That or it would start a plastic surgery frenzy the likes of which have never been seen. Probably the latter...
As the child of asian parents we go through this stuff all the time and for the most part, are completely use to it! I wonder if it has damaged our child hood.
