Acceptable TV airs tonight on VH1. The premise is that people will pitch pilots for TV shows, and winners get picked up for more episodes, which VH1 will air. Acceptable TV creator Dan Harmon made My Black Friend as an example. You can see (and vote on) other pilots at the Acceptable TV site.

What would a drunk squirrel say? Um, its NSFW. There are plenty of sordid stories of delinquent and even violent squirrels today at Miss Cellania.

My friends Eric Breitenbach and Phyllis Redman recently completed an absolute stunner of a documentary called When Pigs Fly. It's an incredibly moving portrait of a quadriplegic woman who lives with and cares for over 700 pigs. Yes, 700 pigs! I could rave about the film, but since I'm a friend I'll just point you to a couple reviews:

How you react to this video will probably say something about your age. To a Baby Boomer, this is a slightly more absurd version of the soundtrack of childhood nightmares. It really needs an appearance by Peter Sellers to make it complete. Those who came of age after the Cold War will enjoy seeing things go boom. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
