While I'm not discounting my tip for the top for this year's American Idol - Chris Sligh, all the way - you can't help but be impressed by this performance of another in the top 24, Chris Blake - beatboxer, in a performance that has him building a track live on stage, KT Tunstall-style. The whole thing has a very cool Portishead-vibe going on. Nice.

Some of you may remember my long explanation for the creation of Gideon Television, our Second Life gonzo journalist, citing not only Hunter S Thompson but also the work of writer and genius Warren Ellis for my inspiration.

Whoops! We're not sure if it was your fault or ours (probably yours, we're good that way) but you've encountered a FATAL ERROR!!! Or at least, a pretty grumpy one.
Specifically the Latvians who run our server are telling us in a weird accent "Smarty error: [in evaluated template line 5]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'mtfeed' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 580), Comrade!". Ain't life a bitch.
