Professor Stephen Hawking turns 65 on Monday, 44 years after he was given 2 years to live, and shows no signs of slowing down.

He just announced plans to ride the "vomit comet" this year and to be one of the first passengers on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic spaceship in 2009.
