Did you know the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has a gift shop? Yep, it's Skeletons in the Closet. If you go to the morgue, you won’t see a sign for it, since they try to be sensitive and all. I’ve purchased gifts online for those people who require a bit of imagination in gifts. Besides the welcome mat shown, they have clothing, accessories, office supplies, and a new kitchen cutting board that I now covet.

I've been there each of the last three times I've been in LA. I have a mousepad, a blood-red beach towel with a body outline, and several shirts. What's amazing is that none of it's cheap (at least as of my last visit a year ago).
