When YestButNoButYes published the Top Ten YBNBY Stories of the Year, I read it and said “Hmmm, basically a list of the best lists. I will have to include that in my year-end list.”

The internet thrives on lists. Name it, and it’s on someone’s list of something. I found myself doing a list of lists for the end of 2006. The problem was not finding the lists, it was trimming the list of lists down to a managable level. The easiest way to do that is to list the top ten lists of lists.
