And your country voted Bush and his croonies back in power in '04 to fight in a war that has absolutely *NOTHING* to do with the 'war on terror'.

You fucked up USA. You fucked up. Get your boys outta there and apologize to the world for the countless of victims and bloodshed on both sides of the conflict.

How many more are gonna die for fuckn *NOTHING*

Cronies has one "o". Croonies are fans of popular ballads in the 40's.

Anybody knows what was happening?

It sounds like incoming mortar rounds.

I wish they were home too, but they're there for a reason, and they're protecting this country by fighting terrorists on their own turf, the middle east. And the majority of our troops want to stay in Iraq until we win the war, they realize that this is not the end, but the middle of a long, hard and dangerous conflict. Peace in the middle east and laying down the bedrock for true democracy will protect our country in the years to come. Handing the country over to Iran and giving up in the face of political pressure will send the wrong message to the international community.

hmm eventaully an asteroid, ice age, but most likely something man made will put this missery to an end.
enjoy it while it lasts.

So, we're going to help break up a 1,300 year old fight and bring peace to the Middle East? And they're not going to start going at it again the minute we leave?

You want peace in Iraq now, you better be ready to leave troops over there permanently. Maybe we can call it East Virginia, and start bringing in the KFC's and Walmarts. That'll surely bring an end to terrorism in the West, just like the bases in Saudi Arabia did.

By the way, what message are we sending the International community now?

And did you just say "laying down the bedrock for true democracy"?

Wow, and I never thought I'd ever actually meet a walking talking propaganda machine...razen, I got a brigde to sell you...

yeah, seems like the insurgents are out to "get some" eh, America?
Has America actually won any wars since wwII?
America did get their ass kicked in Vietnam, Somalia, Korea, and now apparantly in Iraq too.
The most war-like nation on the planet, in spite of all their technology, is still the crappest at fighting a war.

We have Mcdonalds and playstation to thank for our weaknesses. If your kids have one trash it. We have the potential to have a great fighting force however; affirmative action has destroyed our military capabilities. You can thank yourselves for that liberals. What we need is an equal playing field for all Americans. The best qualified should have the positions available throughout America or we will fail as a nation. I believe the military's view on bringing in young soldiers on the bases that they will not think for themselves and will follow orders is the problem with this modern battlefront. We need to draft back into service all prior military up to age 50. These individuals are more mature and will not make as many mistakes as our younger troops. We are sending boys out there to learn the hard way. In WW1 the Germans always had older Soldiers with the younger. We also can't continue to have yuppies in the counter terrorism units trying to guess what a criminal or combat minded person is going to do next. But that is the way the bal bounces here in America! We should deploy sniper teams at all major intersections in Iraq to watch for the placing of improvised munitions. Hell, we have red light cameras all over America maybe we should donate them to Iraq. On the less serious side we can give them our cell phones so they can tattle tale on each other as we do here! I could go on all day!

Ohio Baby you said we got our butts kicked in Somalia.
Fact:
1) We were sent in to kill 2 leaders both were killed.
2) We were sent in to capture 1 leader and he was captured.
3) We lost a few dozen men and killed 100 to 1.

And you say we lost? 100 to 1 and all mission objectives accomplished even without the support of the president who sent us in.

Get your facts little one.
