I was just wondering what would happen if I put a couple Lunch Hour Veg posts on the VH1 Best Week Ever Drop It section, and then asked YesBut readers to vote for them. I know...this is shameless, and also pretty dorky. But as we all know, I have no shame and I'm a huge dork, so all is right in the world.
If it works here, we'll try American Idol next.

Why not? It worked for me; I'm still on 25 Peeps after more than a month after asking for votes here. And I do the same type thing at Eat My Hamster. But if your submissions don't get a ton of votes at VH1, its because they make the registration almost as difficult as MySpace. After you register and login, it took me forever to get back to the page I wanted. I had to come back here to get it!
