Yes, I know, all my Lost predictions from last week were once again way off. But that isn't deterring me.
So - the guy with the eyepatch who appeared on the video. Think it has anything to do with this? And now I've gone and filled you afternoon with the wonder of the Lostpedia.
On the Entertainment Weekly blog, there's a piece that suggests news of Studio 60s demise were slightly premature, including this wonderful line:
NBC says Studio 60 has a future as long as it stays above a 3 share. (To put this in perspective: A 3 share is what's left on the kleenex when NCIS blows its nose.)
Let's hope so - I really missed it this week.
German human rights campaigners have filed a complaint against Sacha Cohen complaining about the way Borat discriminates against Gypsies in his new movie, where he calls himself a "former Gypsy catcher".
Am I the only one who thinks it's ironic that they're not too concerned about the whole "throw the Jew down the well" thing?

If Ren is wearing a tight baseball uniform with a big bulge in the crotch, and he calls Stimpy his little Blumkin Pumpkin, and Stimpy holds the catcher's mitt directly over his anus, and Ren throws the ball which fires Stimpy into the bed with Ren following, and mystery liquids commence firing from underneath the bed sheets...is that gay?

Beginning this weekend, the Brooklyn Museum presents a solo exhibition of works by the sculptor Ron Mueck. Mr. Mueck is known for his amazingly lifelike, but always out of proportion, sculptures. They're really pretty incredible.
I first became aware of this artist when I saw his piece "Dead Dad" at the Sensation show in the same museum. I remember wondering if he was commenting on death, or just getting back at his father. I've been a fan ever since. Seeing a collection of his work, including five new pieces, is going to be a treat. If you're in New York, you should check it out.

- The President told a joke this week. He said Donald Rumsfeld was doing a fantastic job. What a kidder.
- If anyone's wondering what to get me for Christmas, a calendar with Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin ain't it.
- Check out some stupid things overheard in ad agencies. Things like "I love it. But I also think it’s too good".
- If an ad agency opens in Second Life, does it make a sound? I read an article about Crayon, and I ask "Why?"
- And the photographer, Brian McCarty really likes toys. Me too. I'm going to need some of these photos.
