Just as Lost continues to get worse by the episode, Heroes continues to get better. I was a little reluctant with the pilot about where it would go, but week on week it continues to surprise me.
If you're a regular viewer, you might be a fan of the paintings created by Isaac in his white-eyed stupor. They are all, in fact, the work of comic artist Tim Sale. Sale and series producer/writer Jeph Loeb have worked together on a number of comics related projects, most notably on The Long Hallowe'en & Dark Victory graphic novels featuring Batman, from which I am lucky enough to own a piece of original art. And here's a link to his art dealer's web site in case you want to pick up a piece yourself.

I gave up halfway through the pilot but of course now everyone is starting to rave about it. Guess I'll wait for the DVD.
I think (hope) the big difference is the writers of Heroes have the full story arc planned out, where Lost seems to just be trying to survive on atmosphere without any real plot resolution.
Lost has turned out to be the 21st century version of Twin Peaks.
