Yeah, it's no wonder Tower's going out of business. Regardless of the online market, they were way off on pricing to begin with. Charging $17 for a CD? That's tantamount to suicide these days.
Oh, and the reason why it'll take six weeks to sell out? They've ripped all the "discounted" pricing stickers and are now taking 10% off of MSRP. So the CD you bought there before they announced the sale would be cheaper than their "huge" sale.
That whole "the record store is dying" line is such hooey.
