Up Up and Away

2Hroasn06
Just as Lost continues to get worse by the episode, Heroes continues to get better. I was a little reluctant with the pilot about where it would go, but week on week it continues to surprise me.

If you're a regular viewer, you might be a fan of the paintings created by Isaac in his white-eyed stupor. They are all, in fact, the work of comic artist Tim Sale. Sale and series producer/writer Jeph Loeb have worked together on a number of comics related projects, most notably on The Long Hallowe'en & Dark Victory graphic novels featuring Batman, from which I am lucky enough to own a piece of original art. And here's a link to his art dealer's web site in case you want to pick up a piece yourself.

AQUAMAN, KING OF THE SEVEN SEAS, HAS FUCKING HAD IT WITH YOU, MAN.

Aquaman.jpg

"Dude, I can get 6 million krill to gunk up the engine of a getaway ship by having them hurl themselves up the intake jets. Mass sea-monkey suicide. OK? Try that shit with operant conditioning, with some big-titted blondie waggling a smelt, see what you get. Think they're meting out kick-ass sea justice over at Epcot? Shyeah."

From McSweeney's.

Bully Boy

Some of you may remember I've been waiting for Rockstar's new game, Bully to hit the shelves. Now it's here, and although I've yet to pick it up, I'm reading about some bold gameplay manouvres. One way that the hero replenishes his energy is to kiss the girls.

Or... as the above video shows - the boys :)

He's obviously acting

...or at least, that what PumpkinHead thinks.

If there's an absolute zero for vile and disgusting, Rush Limbaugh lives about twelve feet below it.

Top Five on Tuesday

One more week...and I've already eaten ten times my body weight in fun size bars

5) A witch that talks when you take the candy. Should scare the crap out of the little...darlings
4) I have a ton of these chocolate eyeballs in my office. Economy candy rocks, and bribery works.
3) The finest in gourmet white chocolate skulls and gummi worms, courtesy of Dylan's Candy Bar
2) Ghost in a Can...I think it's like those cans that moo when you turn them over, only scarier.
1) And for those decorating EVERY room in the house, don't scrimp on the orange and black TP.

Breakfast Links

PeanutsInHell.jpg

- While no one was looking, someone opened a Manhattan restaurant dedicatd to sun tan lotion.
- Researchers at Carnegie Mellon have taught a computer how to turn a 2D image into a 3D one.
- Danny & Nina are moving soon, but they want the web community to tell them where to move.
- Carson Daly has a show where people submit their own videos for cash. Wow, what a unique idea.
- And another Peanuts Great Pumpkin parody, courtesy of the twisted folks at Robot Chicken.

404 Error

Whoops! We're not sure if it was your fault or ours (probably yours, we're good that way) but you've encountered a FATAL ERROR!!! Or at least, a pretty grumpy one.

Specifically the Latvians who run our server are telling us in a weird accent "Smarty error: [in evaluated template line 5]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'mtfeed' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 580), Comrade!". Ain't life a bitch.

If you want to vent, email our slacker of a webmaster. Otherwise, we'd suggest going back, using search, or clicking around aimlessly on this page like a moron.

Have fun.
