Someone told me it was Winston Churchill who said "America and England are two great nations divided by a common language." I think you can include Canada and Australia in that also. You’re on your own in countries like India, where the official (but not national) language is English, but most of the people don’t know it. If I ever make it across the pond, I’ll take this handy US/UK translation guide with me.
