According to Human Events, the national conservative weekly, these are the ten most harmful books of the 19th and 20th centuries.
1. The Communist Manifesto
2. Mein Kampf
3. Quotations from Chairman Mao
4. The Kinsey Report
5. Democracy and Education
6. Das Kapital
7. The Feminine Mystique
8. The Course of Positive Philosophy

There’s also a list of honorable mentions, since, ya know, a little knowledge and critical thinking can be a dangerous thing. Dust off those library cards, kids!

Does this top 10 not read like a badass track list for a 10 song LP? Best name for a hit track - "The Course of Positive Philosophy"
Hit follow up - "Beyond Good and Evil"

I'm surprised they included the Republican Bible, Mein Kampf...
Just because you think a book is harmful doesn't mean you necessarily want it banned, who doesn't like to make fun of right-wingers, but they are at least half right in that these books led to some really bad stuff. But its not the books its individuals.
Mein Kampf = "Republican bible"? Hardly. I would replace Kampf and Communist Manifesto with Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead.
Well, if we want to use human suffering as the measuring stick, then it's a really really short list.
1: The Bible
That is all.
