Clearing out some old stuff today...You may have seen BubbleGum Fink on BoingBoing a few weeks ago. Not only does this guy love the 70's (puts me to shame), but he creates entire sets of trading cards for movies and tv shows that he thinks should've been made.
As a fellow trading card collector/dork, I can tell you he's pretty devoted to the craft. I've posted a few samples, (lke this one from the very cool Clockwork Orange set) but you can see them all, along with his huge collection of 70's stuff, on his site.
Sigmund and the Sea Monsters

From the twisted minds of Sid & Marty Krofft. If you're gonna have two older bully sea monsters, Blurp and Slurp are pretty much the perfect names.
HR PufnStuf

I have a hard time believing HR PufnStuf cards never came out. I've never seen them, but you gotta think they were out there somewhere. WitchiePoo, alone should've had her own series.
The Hardy Boys

Don't think the world really needed a Hardy Boys set of trading cards, but who am I to judge. Although, if we're gonna play this game, where's Nancy Drew?
Logan's Run

The perfect society flick where people live to the ripe old age of 21...I remembered it as 30, but I guess that was just wishful thinking. I hear they might do a remake.
Banana Splits revealed

How crazy is this...the guys that played the Banana Splits. Kinda like seeing Blue Man Group without the paint. Another fantasy down the toilet.
That's all.

Hey, thanks for your mention. Did the world need Hardy Boys cards? No, but I was just surprised there weren't any. Dawn of the Dead (1979) will be the next cards coming down the line. Thanks again for visiting.
