Warriors...come out to pla-ay.

NetflixWarriors.jpg

Are you a Warriors fan? Ok, are you a fan of watching free outdoor movies in 100 degree heat? Well, courtesy of the Netflix Roadshow, you can see The Warriors tonight on an outdoor screen at Coney Island at 8:30. And the best part...Mercy, Swan, Cochise, Vermin, Snow, Fox, Cleon and Cowboy will be taking questions after the screening.

There is no excuse

Madmax-1
"In a world that seems to have gone mad". Am I the only one who thinks Mel Gibson's apology borrows heavily from the Mad Max trailer narration? (It helps if you read it in "the voice".)

You know you've made it big....

Agencycom

...when they start making T Shirts about you. Congrats to Agency.com on going from yesterday's news to internet meme in 24 hours after posting their video on YouTube.

They interviewed me once for the job of Creative Director and turned me down. Looks like they made the right decision.

Don't make us do it...

Firefighters.jpg GraveMen.jpg

Recently on Gothamist, I noticed it's time again for every female New Yorker's favorite way to use her Platinum Card. The FDNY calendar is back. A favorite stocking stuffer for every naughty girl in the five boroughs. Then on GMask, I read about a lesser known publication, the men of mortuaries calendar. Because, I'm assuming, chicks dig gravediggers.

Now, as we're always looking for new ways to increase traffic at YesBut, I propose the following. Unless our traffic goes up by 500% by the end of August, we will publish a Men of YesBut pictorial calendar, and let it loose online. Think about that, ladies. Think about a bunch of guys named Evil Rich, Scara, Jellio and Big Fat Creative posing for a calendar. We may even get Aquaman in the suit. No, we don't want to do it. But we will if people don't start clicking.

So tell your friends to come check out YesButNoButYes. You owe it to yourself. Because even if there's a one percent chance of the unimaginable coming due, you must act as if it's a certainty.

ok, I know this is dumb but...

ChuckG.jpg

Does anyone here watch the ABC News podcast? I've been watching it religiously for months now. It's right up there with The Daily Nut in terms of favorite podcast.

Now from the beginning, ABC has used a rotation of anchors to deliver the news, and their sign-off has always been Thanks for watching, and click on us again tomorrow. Then, Charles Gibson took over as anchor about a month ago, and being new to the whole interweb thing, he signed off with click US ON again tomorrow. About a week into his tenure, he corrected himself and said click ON US, and then went back to his old habit TWO DAYS LATER. It was a power thing, or something. Like he was saying, Screw you twenty-somethings...I'm Chuck-motherfucking-Gibson, and I'll say click us on if I want to say click us on. Kinda like the Good Morning America version of Make My Day.

So I was watching the podcast this morning, and Mr. Gibson stated his usual click us on and then CORRECTED HIMSELF, and said click on us. WHAT??? Was there a letter-writing campaign? Did chuck give in to the pressure? Is there nothing to believe in anymore?

Anyway, my world is shattered. Send us an an email if you know what really happened. And click us on again tomorrow.

- Have you heard of the LA Riot Spectacular? If this clip is any indication, political correctness is not a concern.
- Classic Larry David on the conspiracy to spread the small penis myth being carried out by the huge vagina women.
- It's not a good week to be a dog in China, as there's been an outbreak of rabies and the solution is pretty harsh.
- You think we do alot of useless crap here at YesBut? Check out the brain surgeons at IHumpedYourHummer.com.
- And Will Ferrell on the Daily Show, discussing whores, hash and the CIA cleaner that keeeps him out of trouble.
