A small little story over at one of my favorite pop culture sites, The Wow Report, has a happy catch up note about Lynn & Alex from The Amazing Race. After cementing their relationship on the show, they went up to Canada and got married, much to the horror of their family who apparently, only found out Alex was gay when they watched the show.

Now - hold on a sec. I liked these two a lot, and clearly, there was nothing unambiguous about either of them. And Alex's family never suspected?? I'm picturing a version of the Monty Python parrot sketch, with Alex's dad protesting "No, no, he's not gay, he's just flamboyant". I suppose paternal love really is blind.
