Hot on the heels of yesterday's “world's longest stool” post, here's another for the record books. German Annika Irmler has the world's largest tongue, measuring in at over 7cm (which for the metrically challenged is about 3 inches. Unfortunately for us, she's a 12 year old schoolgirl, so I'll leave the smutty remarks for the anonymous commenters.

cool. since that article was posted five years ago, do you think the tongue has grown?
I mean the article was taken before a growth spurt, so who knows, the tongue could be like 20cm now.
maybe she'd be able to lick her own eyeball, like geckoes do on tv.
