The Grindhouse Bonus Feature - The Italian Stallion

Before Rambo, before Rocky, before Cobra, Sylvester Stallone starred in the hardcore porn flick Party at Kitty and Studs. After the success of Rocky, the producers cut out the hardcore bits and released it in soft-core form as The Italian Stallion.

Here's the fantastic trailer for the film, which hilariously shows no shame in hitching itself to the Stallone bandwagon.

Has anyone ever seen The Longest Foot? There's no mention of it on IMDB...

AmEx 15 Second Clips Competition

200604251142
There's been a lot of buzz around “consumer-generated advertising” lately. I guess advertisers are beginning to realize that their glossy corporate messages are looking increasingly tired, and hope that the honesty of real people will rub off on them. It backfired with Chevy's attempt to allow users to make their own spots, which resulted in a flood of ads about gas-guzzling SUVs. And the jury is still out on Mastercard, who have solicited “Priceless” examples from the public, but have yet to unleash the winners

But it looks like American Express have actually got it right. They invited people to submit their own “My Life” 15 second clips, and have a video podcast feed of the best. And some of them are pretty good.

The Wonderful World of Self-Plagiarism

M-Kr 01 M-Kr 02

I wish I could read Russian, but the pictures alone provide pretty clear evidence that old man Walt just kept serving us up the same three films over and over again. Kind of like Nickelback.

Dangerous Men!

Dangerous Men

Screenhead has uncovered what may be either the greatest undiscovered midnight movie of them all, or the greatest hoax since Andy Kaufman. Either way, it's fucking brilliant.

First, see the trailer.

Then download this "special song" to your iPod and play it over and over again.

Then watch this TV interview with filmmaker John S. Rad.

Finally read this review from the LA Weekly.

If you got this far, then you probably feel an intense need to track this film down right away... [via Screenhead]

404 Error

Whoops! We're not sure if it was your fault or ours (probably yours, we're good that way) but you've encountered a FATAL ERROR!!! Or at least, a pretty grumpy one.

Specifically the Latvians who run our server are telling us in a weird accent "Smarty error: [in evaluated template line 5]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'mtfeed' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 580), Comrade!". Ain't life a bitch.

If you want to vent, email our slacker of a webmaster. Otherwise, we'd suggest going back, using search, or clicking around aimlessly on this page like a moron.

Have fun.
