The nominees for the “non-traditional viewing platform” daytime Emmy award were announced today. Congratulations to all the nominees, but especially to the folks from It's Jerry Time, which by my reckoning, was the only true podcast-format, iPod-compatible show of the bunch, despite the fact that everyone is calling it the “iPod Emmy”. Yet another example of lazy journalism.

However, as if anticipating this, episodes from all the nominated series have been made available for download in iPod format, as well as online streaming versions, so you can sample them all.
