Brett Boone may annouce his retirement from baseball, and you can still remember watching his dad catch for the Phillies...time to buy a Porsche.
(Aaron's still playing, right?)

Bret Boone is either really unlucky or very guilty. From 1992-97, he never hit more than 15 home runs in a season (he hit 7 in 139 games in 1997).
Then, starting in 1998, he found his swing (or found something else). The next 7 years, he had 24, 20, 19, 37, 24, 35 and 24 homers.
Then, in 2005, the year steroids testing was cranked up, Boone dropped back down to 7 home runs (and a .221 average). Now he's done.
Unfortunate coincidence if he was clean.
My dad remembers Ray Boone playing. Time for him to buy a Hover-round.
Who are these guys? Why doen't they just leave, and have some friggin dignity, without "announcing" it to the friggin world?
If you hadn't told me, I wouldn't have cared. Now I'm forced to have it burned into my skull.
Damn you, Jell, damn you to Hell.
I remember Bob Boone in his playing days. He had a couple of gifted kids. I'll never forget Aaron Boone's extra innings homer in game 7 ALCS against the Bosox,it put the Yankees in the World Series. My dad remembered Ray Boone way back when. My great grandfather remembered Danial Boone, I think he played with the indians. Haha.
