This week's trailer is for a typical grindhouse horror double feature, I Dismember Mama and The Blood Spattered Bride, both released in 1974.

I love this trailer because it takes the piss out of those "interview audience members outside the cinema" style trailers that were much more prevalent in the seventies. It features goofy riot cops, a clichéd suburbanite couple, some 42nd street weirdos, and a hippie chick rambling on about "groovy up-chuck cups." Add in some shock cuts to scenes of blood and boobs from the flicks, and you have a time capsule peek at that old grindhouse flavor.
