911 Revisited

GroundZeroImage.jpg

Finally got around to reading the New York Magazine article on the growing numbers of 911 conspiracy theorists. Those that know me know it doesn't take much to send me into Zapruder territory, but even I've had a hard time believing our own gov't. had anything to do with it. (more of a competence thing then anything else, really.)

If you have some time, read the article, or take a look around the 911 conspiracy postings on Google. One of the most amazing videos I saw (which I can't find now...damn) was a group of firemen talking about the series of explosions they saw going down the side of one of the towers, right before it fell.

That's funny, Jell...

I submitted an article on 9-11 (well, close, sorta) and I was told by the submitee that this website was all about pop references and fun and all that, and that although it does have a lace online, just not here.

I think that's strange... I smell a conspiracy.

Should I write an article about this?

Should I try and submit it again?

Hmmmmmm... dilemma, dilemma.

And it's Monday!

Don't worry Johnny. I've been edited before, too. Bossman Scara probably hasn't read it yet, that's all. Anyway, maybe now that NY Mag has taken the lead, we can post from the grassy knoll in peace.

p.s. - although, when reading my article, it is not as concise, clear or as non-partisian as Jellio's. HOWEVER... waaah

All I can say is "Back, and to the left... back, and to the left..."

OW! Now THAT had to hurt!

Johnny, that wasn't an article, that was a full-on 'from the bunker" paranoid rant about the Government that would have done nothing so much as get me audited by the IRS.

I used to think conspiracy theories, like that of the JFK assasination, were implausible because too many people would have to keep quiet or look the other way for the public to not find out about it. But now that I have a fuller understanding of the ineptness of the news media in this country I can totally see there being so much more to what happened on 9/11 than what anyone has tried to uncover.

You are right, as I said before, but there is nothing to fear but the government itself.

Is this wrong?

Anyway, I'll keep a lower tone from now.

Much lower.

well you know what would be a perfect blend of this idea and this website?

the top ten list of conspiracies!

omg, I'm a genius
