This week we pile into the trunk of the car and head out to the drive-in for catch Jack Hill's The Swinging Cheerleaders. Jack Hill had already established himself as one of the more interesting sexploitation filmmakers with classics like The Big Doll House, Spider Baby (truly one of the most demented films ever made), and Switchblade Sisters by the time he made it, certainly one of the better "cheerleader" movies from the era.
Hill described The Swinging Cheerleaders as a "Disney sex comedy," and he's mostly right. That is, if you cut out the nudity, gang bangs, student-teacher sex, and classic lines of dialog like "I ought to carve my name on that tit, then see what he got to say!"
