I don't often catch Oprah, but last night my wife and I watched her roasting of James Frey over an open flame. Holy crap, Oprah - I don't care how much he ruined your own reputation, there was no need to publicly humiliate the man that way. It was more shameful than anything Frey himself did, in my opinion.
As Cindy said to me, I bet Oprah still kisses up to Clinton's ass every chance she gets, and he was hardly a paragon of virtue.

That was one of the most uncomfortable grillings I've even seen on or off TV. Frey was like a school kid getting berated by his teacher. I thought Oprah rocked but I wish she had been harder on that haughty bitch book publisher who is just as guilty as Frey of selling a book as something that it wasn't. That woman did not take this seriously at all. Her cell phone actually went off on stage!! Who goes on Oprah and doesn't turn off the ringer on their cell phone?
