I've never seen a single episode of Monk. But, since Apple is offering exactly one episode free of charge, that's all going to change.
I'm surprised more shows aren't doing this. ABC Family's Wildfire couldn't use a similar promotion? Really?
And, as reported by sister site PodGuide.tv, Saturday Night Live sketches and Best Of shows are now for sale. I love SNL, but I can't remember any single sketch worth $1.99. It would cost Lorne ten times that for me to watch a Falconer sketch.
By the way, I keep getting error messages while trying to download Monk. USA Network's window to buy my support is closing.

The first few episodes of Monk were wonderful -- fresh, funny, and (thanks to Shalhoub) energetic and engaging. Then the writing fell apart. Since then, the episodes have only occasionally been great.
BTW, the mysteries usually suck. The writers are clearly humor-oriented, and so the mysteries take a back seat.
