Here's a lesson from 1912 that all contemporary technologists would do well to learn. If you think you've invented the next great safety device (eg the parachute), test it from the top of a stepladder and work your way higher. Do NOT start from the first platform of the Eiffel Tower. (The guy in the last shot seems to be measuring the size of the impact crater)
