This is my new favorite thing, at least for today. Pandora is a customizeable radio station utilizing the results of the Music Genome Project. Just start by typing in a song or an artist and Pandora will then begin playing other songs that it feels fits into the genre you have created based on factors such as melody, harmony, rhythm, instrumentation, orchestration, arrangement and lyrics. Usually these sorts of things (like say Amazon's recommendations) deliver up predictable and redundant results but based on my experience so far I've been hearing some interesting things. Plus the Flash interface is pretty damn cool.
Anyone else out there use this?

I love this thing. For me, it's been amazingly accurate about songs and artists that I would like and it's one of the most polite interfaces you'll find. If you don't like a song they've chose, they practically apologize for their grave error and promise never to do it again.
It's a great tool and everyone should give it a try.
I've been using for a while now, and I love it. Sometimes it plays odd stuff, but it can "learn" with a little nudge from you.
I use it daily and have stopped listening to my cds and mp3s because of it. Sony (according to a recent Wired) is coming out with a phone with this function. It would be perfect if Pandora were portable.

I love Pandora. Good way to find new music.
