My interest in cooking shows has ebbed and flowed over the years. I loved the Two Fat Ladies, once saw a taping of Emeril, used to watch japanese-language Iron Chef broadcasts on cable without knowing what the hell it was, and distinctly remember in the early days of The Food Network watching an entire 30 minute show on how to bake a potato.

To these gastronomic memories, I can now add Starvin' With Louis, an internet cooking show that can best be described as “dirt-style cooking”. From his apartment kitchen, Louis shows you how to combine all your major food cravings into one dish. For example, cupcakes iced with mashed potato, or Lo Mein made with hot dogs, hot sauce & beer. Now THAT, my friends, is heaven on a plate.
